Abstract

The paper proposes an analysis of the music of Regina Spektor, from the perspective of the essential relation between the narrative and the moral imagination. In the first part of the paper, I present some general aspects that are important for the understanding of the concept of moral imagination, resorting, mostly, to the works of Martha Nussbaum. The second part of the article focuses on the songs of Regina Spektor, conceived as stories that explore the “other’s point of view” and attempt to give voice to the ones that are unheard.
