Abstract

Nowadays danger might take multiple forms. When we are thinking of the 21st century, the first thing that comes up in our minds it’s symbolized by technology. I am especially referring to social media. The place where beautiful opportunities might appear, amazing friendships might get started but also dangerous sequences might get in our ways. From my point of view, the entire humankind is pressed by social media and its negative effects. In the essay below, I am discussing the negative effects of technology upon our lives and the bad consequences of our actions that involve the internet. What started as the Supreme Good took an unexpected turn against us. We are living times where the Creation dominates the Creator and as time goes by our chances to psychologically survive this cybernetic war considerably decrease. Our real and actual chance is now so we have to act accordingly.

Rezumat

În zilele noastre pericolul poate lua forme multiple. Când ne gândim la secolul 21, primul lucru care ne vine în minte este reprezentat de tehnologie. Iar prin aceasta, mă refer în mod special la social media. Locul în care se pot ivi oportunități frumoase, se pot lega prietenii minunate, dar, de asemenea, pot apărea și secvențe periculoase în viețile noastre. Din punctul meu de vedere, întreaga omenire este presată de social media, respectiv de efectele sale negative. În eseul de mai jos, voi aborda efectele negative ale tehnologiei asupra vieților noastre și consecințele nefavorabile apărute de pe urma consecințelor acțiunilor noastre care includ internetul. Ceea ce a început drept Binele Suprem a luat o turnură complet neașteptată împotriva umanității. Trăim vremuri în care Creația ajunge să-și domine Creatorul, iar pe măsura trecerii timpului șansele noastre de a supraviețui psihic acestui război cibernetic scad considerabil. Adevărata noastră șansă este acum, așadar trebuie să reacționăm pe măsură.
